What Is This Service?
You remove the ECM/PCM from your vehicle and ship it to us. We handle the modifications and ship it back quickly.
This service will delete/disable the Vehicle Anti-Theft System (VATS) software in your GM vehicle’s ECM or PCM. This includes 1998 – 2018 GM V8 powered vehicles with an ECM or PCM like the vortec “black box”, P01, P59, E38, E67, E92, P12, E40, and other Gen 3 LS, Gen 4 LS, and Gen 5 LT vehicles.

- Purchase the service
- Remove your ECM/PCM from the vehicle
- Package securely
- Fill out the service form (place the order first, you need your order # to complete the form). There is also link to this form in the main menu of the website.
- USPS recommend for delivery to our secure locked mailbox at the shop, UPS & FedEx are ok too, but sometimes they don’t leave the package and this causes a delay.

1) VATS ONLY
- Basic VATS removal (disable theft deterrent / no-start condition).
2) BASIC SERVICE – DTC Delete/Engine Swap Setup, DOD Off
- VATS removal
- DOD/AFM disable (if applicable)
- VVT disable (if applicable)
- Engine swap diagnostics cleanup (unused sensors disabled)
- Basic settings edits (eFans, speed limiter removal, etc.)
3) MORE POWER! – PREMIUM GEN V direct-injected TUNE
Includes everything in the Basic Service plus:
- Stage 1/ Stage 2 Cam Tune (as needed)
- We modify ignition timing, air fuel ratios, torque management, power enrichment, and many more settings to get the most potential out of your setup.
- The result is more power, torque, MUCH better throttle response, and even a few MPG (if you can keep your foot out of it).

Exclusions
This mail-order tuning service does not include newer GM vehicles that require more than 4 HP Tuners credits, such as certain encrypted platforms including:
- 2021.5+ Silverado / Sierra
- C8 Corvette
- Cadillac Blackwing platforms
- Other late-model encrypted GM controllers
- Early 90s Cadillac like the DeVille and any other Northstar powered vehicles.
