Mobile ECU Programming, Diagnostics & Tuning
We bring professional vehicle programming, module service, diagnostics, ECU unlocks, and custom tuning to homes, repair shops, performance shops, and vehicle locations throughout metro Atlanta.
Fulton, DeKalb, and Gwinnett counties. Longer-distance service may also be available.
Domestic, European, Asian, gasoline, diesel, performance, commercial, and selected off-road applications.
Have the year, make, model, engine, requested service, vehicle location, and relevant codes or part numbers ready.
PCM Tuners provides mobile automotive computer services for vehicles that need programming, diagnosis, module replacement, calibration, or tuning. We work directly with vehicle owners, repair shops, performance shops, engine-swap installers, body shops, and other automotive businesses.
ECU and Module Programming
Programming and setup for ECM, PCM, TCM, BCM, TIPM, RF Hub, airbag, and other electronic control modules.
Module Cloning
Transfer of recoverable data from an original module into a compatible (new or used) replacement module when direct cloning is supported.
Factory Reflashing
OEM software updates, replacement-module setup, configuration, relearns, and supported factory programming procedures.
Advanced Diagnostics
Scan-tool testing, live-data analysis, network diagnostics, module communication checks, and written diagnostic findings.
ECU, DME and TCM Unlocks
On-site, bench, and mail-order unlock services for supported domestic and European engine and transmission controllers.
Gasoline and Diesel Tuning
Calibration for stock vehicles, modified vehicles, engine swaps, camshafts, forced induction, drivability, and performance applications.
Modern vehicles contain many computers that must contain the correct software, VIN data, security information, configuration, and vehicle-specific settings. Replacing a module often requires more than simply plugging it in.
Used Module Programming
Many used ECM, PCM, TCM, BCM, TIPM, RF Hub, and other modules can be reused after the correct programming, configuration, security, relearn, or data-transfer procedure is completed.
Compatibility depends on the vehicle, module family, hardware number, software level, donor part, and available programming method.
New or Virgin Module Programming
Module Cloning
Cloning copies readable data from an original controller into a compatible replacement. Depending on the module, this may include immobilizer data, coding, VIN information, calibration data, or other vehicle-specific information.
Cloning is different from factory programming. Factory programming installs approved software and configuration; cloning transfers data from the original module.

Other Supported Module Services
- Airbag-module and crash-data service
- Maintenance and service reminder reset
- Supported odometer and mileage correction
- Module removal and installation for bench or mail-order service
- Vehicle configuration and coding when supported
- GM VATS delete for supported swap and replacement applications
Our diagnostic service focuses on vehicle electronics, computer systems, communication networks, programming problems, tuning problems, and data that requires more than a basic code scan.
Full-System Scan
Review of fault codes, module status, freeze-frame information, and related system data across supported vehicle networks.
Live-Data Analysis
Evaluation of sensor readings, commanded values, calculated values, fuel data, throttle data, pressure data, and other operating information.
CAN Bus and Network Diagnostics
Testing for missing modules, communication faults, gateway problems, wiring issues, network interruptions, and modules that prevent programming.
Programming Failure Diagnosis
Investigation of failed flashes, interrupted programming, locked controllers, incorrect modules, unsupported software, and recovery options.
Tuning and Installation Diagnosis
Review of misfires, sensor faults, fuel pressure, throttle control, reduced-power conditions, vacuum leaks, exhaust leaks, and other issues that prevent a tune from being completed.
Written Diagnostic Findings
When appropriate, we provide an emailed summary of fault codes, findings, likely causes, and recommended next steps.
DTC programming and code-related services
Clearing a diagnostic trouble code with a scan tool is not the same as changing the calibration that controls whether a code is reported. Calibration-based DTC programming may be available for supported applications when the request is appropriate and lawful.
We do not treat every warning light as a tuning problem. Misfires, wiring faults, communication codes, fuel-pressure faults, throttle faults, crankshaft or camshaft faults, charging problems, and similar issues generally require diagnosis and repair.
We tune stock vehicles, lightly modified vehicles, engine swaps, camshaft combinations, forced-induction builds, and supported diesel applications. The correct process depends on the vehicle, controller, modifications, and goals.
Stage 1 Tuning
Custom Performance Tuning
Custom tuning is used when the vehicle has modifications that require calibration changes, such as headers, intake changes, intercoolers, downpipes, exhaust changes, injectors, camshafts, engine swaps, or forced induction.
We support many GM, Ford, Mopar, BMW, Mini, Audi, VW, Mercedes, Toyota/Lexus, Nissan/Infiniti, Jaguar, Land Rover, and other applications. Support varies by model, year, engine, controller, and available tools.
Camshaft, Engine Swap and Power-Adder Startup Tunes
A startup tune is a base calibration used to get a modified vehicle operating well enough to inspect the installation, verify sensor operation, identify problems, and prepare for final street or dyno tuning.
Depending on the application, startup work may include idle speed, idle airflow, idle spark, MAF calibration, VE or VVE calibration, injector data, and disabling deleted or unused features such as DOD, AFM, or MDS. Unnecessary engine-swap DTCs may also be addressed.
A startup tune is not automatically a completed performance tune. Engine swaps, camshafts, and power adders may require mechanical repairs, additional logging, street tuning, dyno tuning, or multiple sessions.
Diesel Tuning and Diesel ECU Service
We support many Ford Power Stroke, GM Duramax, Dodge and Ram Cummins, BMW diesel, Mercedes-Benz, Sprinter, VW, Audi, Jaguar, Land Rover, construction, agricultural, and off-road diesel applications.
Diesel services may include performance and drivability calibration, diagnostic support, factory software correction, module cloning, ECU unlocking, bench flashing, and custom calibration work.
Support and legal availability depend on the application and requested service. Contact us with complete vehicle and equipment information.
Phone-app, handheld and switchable tuning
Some vehicles can use customer-operated tuning hardware or phone-based flashing platforms. Supported options may include HP Tuners RTD, Bootmod3, Alientech Powergate, Autotuner One, Magic Motorsport IXI, SCT devices, and similar systems.
These solutions allow the owner to install or change supported calibrations without returning the vehicle for every reflash. Availability depends on the vehicle and controller.
Many newer controllers are protected against normal OBD tuning. An unlock changes the controller so supported tuning tools can read, write, or reflash it. The required method may be on-site, bench, boot-mode, or mail-order service.
