What Is This Service?

You remove the ECM/PCM from your vehicle and ship it to us. We handle the modifications and ship it back quickly.

This service deletes/disables the Vehicle Anti-Theft System (VATS) in GM E67 engine control modules. The E67 ECM is used on Gen 4 LS-based platforms including 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L, and 6.2L engines, the Trailblazer SS, and the factory supercharged Corvette, CTS-V, and Camaro with the LSA and LS9. These are extremely common in swaps, truck applications, and performance builds.

1) VATS ONLY

• Basic VATS removal (disable theft deterrent / no-start condition).

2) BASIC SERVICE – Swaps, Cams, & Base Startup Tune

• VATS removal
• DOD/AFM disable (if applicable)
• VVT disable (if applicable)
• Cam upgrades (if applicable). This is NOT a finished performance tune, but MUCH better than stock and ideal for initial startup and break-in. Our cam swap tune will get you up and running but to be clear, you still need to order custom tuning from us (or someone).
• Engine swap diagnostics cleanup (unused sensors disabled)
• Basic settings edits (eFans, speed limiter removal, etc.)

3) MORE POWER! – PREMIUM GEN 4 LS TUNE

Includes everything in the Basic Service plus:

• We modify ignition timing, air fuel ratios, torque management, power enrichment, and many more settings to get the most potential out of your setup.
• The result is more power, torque, MUCH better throttle response, and even a few MPG (if you can keep your foot out of it).
• Power gains are with stock parts (manifolds, cats, etc). They are estimated/typical and require premium 91/93 octane fuel.
• Final results depend on your specific setup, but  these numbers are based on our real world experience.
• 5.3L – 20HP / 20 ft/lb TQ
• 6.2L – 25HP / 26 ft/lb TQ

1. Remove your ECM/PCM from the vehicle (Try “YouTube University” for how to remove the ECM/PCM for your specific model if needed)
2. Package securely
3. Fill out the Tune Request menu above (place the order first, you need your order # to complete the form) or include a note inside the box with:
   • Answers to the form
   • Phone number and email
   • Order number
   • Any custom requests (eFans enable, speed governor off, DTC off, etc.)
4. USPS recommend for delivery to our secure locked mailbox at the shop, UPS & FedEx are ok too, but sometimes they don’t leave the package and this causes a delay.
