GM Mail-Order Performance Tune Service (1996+)
Custom ECM / PCM Tuning for Daily Driven GM Vehicles
Send us your GM ECM/PCM and we will modify the calibration to improve power, throttle response, drivability, and overall performance. This service is designed for daily driven vehicles with common bolt-on modifications including cold air intake, long tube headers, and cat-back exhaust systems.
Yes this includes the 1994-1995 LT1 and the 1996-2002 Vortec BlackBox.
In addition to those vehicles, as long as your vehicle is supported by HP Tuners, we can develop a custom tune for it. You can check the official supported vehicle list here:

- Purchase the service
- Remove your ECM/PCM from the vehicle
- Package securely
- Fill out the service form (place the order first, you need your order # to complete the form). There is also link to this form in the main menu of the website.
- USPS recommend for delivery to our secure locked mailbox at the shop, UPS & FedEx are ok too, but sometimes they don’t leave the package and this causes a delay.

Optional Settings Available by Request
These settings can be adjusted during the tune if requested:
- VATS (Vehicle Anti-Theft System) delete
- DOD / AFM / DFM disable
- Electric fan enable or temperature adjustment (where available)
- Speed governor removal
- DTC disable for engine swaps/unused components
- Differential gear ratio adjustment
- Tire size correction
Gear ratio and tire size changes can usually be corrected through tuning, but results may vary depending on the vehicle. In some cases we may recommend upgrading to a remote tuning session to perfectly dial in the calibration.
Camshaft Upgrades
We can provide a base startup tune for your Stage 1 and Stage 2 camshaft upgrades.
In some cases we may recommend upgrading to a remote tuning package for best results.

Exclusions
This mail-order tuning service does not include newer GM vehicles that require more than 4 HP Tuners credits, such as certain encrypted platforms including:
- 2021.5+ Silverado / Sierra
- C8 Corvette
- Cadillac Blackwing platforms
- Other late-model encrypted GM controllers
- Early 90s Cadillac like the DeVille and any other Northstar powered vehicles.
