Description
Custom calibration only
Already own the hardware?
Buy the tune.
A custom PCM Tuners calibration for a supported GM, Mopar, Ford or other HP Tuners application using a compatible MPVI or RTD-family device you already own. Hardware is not included.
Before you order
- HP Tuners Universal Credits are not included. Purchase the required credits directly from HP Tuners after registering your device.
- Your device must support the vehicle and must be able to read, flash and log it.
- Some controllers require a one-time unlock or upgrade before tuning.
- Transmission tuning may require separate licensing and is available separately where supported.
See the HP Tuners credit guide before purchasing if you are unsure how licensing works.
Included
- Review of the vehicle details, modifications and intended use
- Custom engine calibration for the supported controller and agreed combination
- Data-log review and reasonable revisions for the agreed combination
Common requests
Exact support depends on the vehicle, controller, available parameters and the quality of the mechanical combination. Common projects include:
- GM AFM/DOD strategy changes and supported HEMI MDS changes
- Intake, cat-back exhaust, headers and related airflow changes
- Injector changes and supported flex-fuel combinations
- Tire-size, axle-ratio, fan and thermostat-related calibration changes where supported
- Requested burble or pop behavior where the combination and controller allow it
- Camshaft startup/base calibrations that can be refined through remote logging
- Turbo, supercharger or other boosted startup/base calibrations before logging and refinement
- Engine-swap startup calibration, VATS-related setup and supported pre-1964 swap projects
Camshaft, injector and boosted combinations require complete parts information. A startup or base file is the beginning of the calibration process—not a substitute for the data logging or dyno work the combination may require. Complete the service request form after ordering so we can match the file to the actual vehicle and hardware.
Need hardware too? Use the GM RTD4 remote-tuning package or the MPVI4 remote-tuning package. Not sure which interface fits? Compare RTD4 and MPVI4.
