Add credits to an MPVI or RTD device
Register your device with HP Tuners, locate its serial number, verify the interface and add the Universal Credits required for your vehicle and modules.
Read the stock file with VCM Editor
Before PCM Tuners can build a remote calibration, you may need to read and save the vehicle’s original file. This walkthrough shows the first-read process in VCM Editor.
Before you begin
- Use a charged laptop and prevent it from sleeping.
- Keep the vehicle battery stable during the read.
- Save the untouched stock file somewhere you can find it again.
- Do not write a calibration until PCM Tuners has reviewed the stock read and your vehicle details.
