Unlock the DME, then choose your tuning path.
This service prepares supported Bosch-powered BMW DMEs for OBD flashing. Common compatible platforms include bootmod3, MHD and MG Flasher. PCM Tuners sells bootmod3 licenses and also offers fixed Stage 1 and Stage 2 calibrations using our professional master tools.
- Before June 2020 DME manufacture date: $199
- June 2020 or later DME manufacture date: $399
- Bring a removed DME: straightforward work is normally completed the same day.
- Leave the vehicle: add $150 for DME removal and reinstallation; vehicles are handled in received order.
Before you order
The exact cutoff is the manufacture date printed on the DME label. The vehicle production label in the driver-side door jamb is usually a useful approximation. Tell us about any previous tune, unlock or DME modification. Undisclosed prior work can consume substantial diagnostic time, so the full service charge still applies.
If technical support is needed, completion may take an additional day or two. If PCM Tuners ultimately cannot unlock the DME, the unlock charge is refunded or not collected. This product does not include a software license or calibration.
Add a 4/6-cylinder BM3 license or a V8 BM3 license when needed.
