Street Tuning ? Real-World Drivability
Peak horsepower is pointless if it stalls in a parking lot. Street tuning focuses on
drivability?startup, idle, part-throttle?plus safe WOT when it counts. Yes, we add power and
torque – up to the safe limits of testing on the street.
Which Option Do I Need?
- Dyno Pulls ? verified HP/TQ numbers, AFR safety check, PDF graphs, MAX effort HP and TQ.
- Dyno Tuning ? optimize fueling/timing for safe WOT power on the dyno.
- Dyno Tuning ? multiple pulls/passes to chase that extra 5?10 HP and ft-lb of TQ.
- Street Tuning ? real-world drivability: startup, idle, part-throttle, shift behavior, then WOT.
- Street Tuning ? add power, final results are similar to Dyno Tuning, but not identical.
- Remote Tuning ? same results as street tuning but you handle driving/logging: supported via
SCT X4/BDX, HP Tuners MPVI3 (no RTD), and Alientech Powergate.

We use our own laptops, interfaces, and sensors. You don?t need to bring hardware unless you have a stand-alone
system like Sniper, Terminator, of FiTech. These systems require a USB to PC interface cable (that you need to provide).

Workflow Transparency
- Domestic brands: tunes developed in-house using HP Tuners/SCT/EFILive.

Euro/Asian brands: we start from proven base + definition files and iterate for your car.
Typical extra $100?$300 (itemized) depending on options/features like Vmax, Pops, DTC,
Lambda off, Park/Neutral rev limiter, etc.
We source calibration/definition files from trusted partners (e.g.,
dyno-chiptuningfiles,
Alientech,
Magic Motorsport)
and specialized contractors where appropriate.
Typical Time & Cost
- Basic mods (NA): ~3?5 hours
- Advanced builds – boosted, BIG cams (Stage 4+): ~6?10+ hours
Turnaround is typically 24 hours on weekdays.
Vehicle Readiness
We don?t tune unfinished builds. The car must be road-ready and safe. If issues arise, we?ll pause and notify you.
- No starting/charging problems; no fluid leaks
- Tires, brakes, steering & suspension in good order
- No misfires, overheating, or persistent DTCs
- Exhaust intact; O? sensors working; no major vacuum leaks
Test route: we road-test on a mix of city/highway. Insurance, registration, and valid tags are required for street tuning; otherwise we?ll limit work to dyno-only.
Policies
- Deposit: $300 to book; applied to your invoice.
- 24-hour window: deposits are non-refundable but transferable once if you reschedule with ?24h notice.
- No waiting onsite: we work faster without an audience.
- Billing: time & materials at posted rates; Euro/Asian definition/base file fees itemized when applicable.
Heads up: Tuning is iterative. Big builds often need follow-up sessions for fine-tuning?that?s normal.
