WHAT IS THIS?
This is a mail order service to modify/delete the vehicle anti-theft system (VATS) SOFTWARE programming on your vehicle’s ECM or PCM. You will need to remove the ECM/PCM from your vehicle and send it to us.
SHIPPING
You will cover shipping to us. We will pay for return shipping back to you. Typical turnaround is 1 business day. Full instructions including the address to mail your computer to are provided after purchase but it’s not complicated. 1) Take your computer out of the vehicle 2) put it in a box 3) mail it to us.

- Settings editing (not required, optional if you know it- eFan on/off temp, larger injectors, tire size, gear ratio, speed limiter removal, etc). Reply to your order confirmation email and tell us what changes you need.

- We modify ignition timing, air fuel ratios, torque management, power enrichment, transmission shifting, and many more settings to get the most potential out of your setup.
- The result is more power, torque, MUCH better throttle response, and even a few MPG (if you can keep your foot out of it).
- If you are doing an LS Swap and just want us to setup the tune for off-road or pre 1964 vehicles you can simply tell us that and we will take care of it. We know you only want the check engine light coming on for “real” problems and to stay off for nuisance/non-existent systems.
- Power gains are estimated and depend on your specific setup but are based on real world experience.

- These tune files are for 93 octane by default. Please reply to the order confirmation and tell us if you only have access to 91 octane or if you plan to run regular 87 octane.
- Segment swap for 4L80 (please reply to your confirmation email and tell us if you need this service).
- This is not required but if you need something specific DON’T FORGET to reply to your order confirmation email and tell us what changes you need the tuner to make (eFan temps, larger injectors, tire size).

ABOUT VATS DELETE
The GM Vehicle Anti-Theft System (VATS) Delete service refers to a programming service to disable the VATS system in a General Motors (GM) vehicle. The VATS system is a security feature installed in some GM vehicles to help prevent unauthorized starting of the vehicle.
Some common reasons to have the VATS system deleted:
- Engine swaps or modifications: When performing engine swaps or replacing the powertrain control module (PCM), the VATS system must be deleted to allow the vehicle to start.
- Replacing the powertrain control module (PCM): the VATS system must be programmed with a dealer scan tool to allow the vehicle to start. The VATS delete will avoid the trouble and cost of going to the dealer.
- Malfunctioning VATS system: If the VATS system becomes faulty and prevents the vehicle from starting even with the correct key, a VATS Delete service can be performed to eliminate the issue.
- Key-related problems: If the VATS keys are lost or damaged and replacements are expensive or unavailable, getting the VATS system removed will allow standard keys or an aftermarket remote starter to work.

Some (typically newer) vehicles require additional services before VATS delete can be performed. We will advise you after the sale and cancel the order if you choose not to purchase the additional unlock services. The E41 L5P diesel, the E90 for 19+ Silverado trucks, the E46 for the 3.0 Duramax, the E93 on 21+ Silverado, and the E99 model ECM for the 2020+ Corvette requires extended time and expensive unlock procedures before VATS delete can be performed.
