MOPAR REMOTE TUNE

Mopar Remote Tuning

Mopar remote tuning for HEMI and Pentastar performance builds

PCM Tuners offers Mopar remote tuning for supported Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram vehicles using HP Tuners hardware. Remote tuning is ideal for modified combinations that benefit from datalog review and tune revisions, including camshaft upgrades, injector changes, drivability corrections, flex fuel upgrades, and more advanced naturally aspirated or boosted setups.

What is Mopar remote tuning?

Mopar remote tuning allows PCM Tuners to revise your calibration using datalogs collected from the vehicle with HP Tuners hardware. Instead of mailing the PCM back and forth for every change, you flash the updated file, record logs, and send them back for review and refinement.

This process works especially well for HEMI and Pentastar platforms with aftermarket modifications, custom combinations, or drivability issues that need real-world calibration adjustments.

Best uses for remote tuning

• Camshaft upgrades
• Drivability improvements and troubleshooting
• Intake and airflow changes
• Injector changes
• Headers and exhaust upgrades
• Flex fuel upgrades
• Turbo or supercharged vehicles
• Custom or non-stock combinations

How the remote tuning process works

1. Choose the correct tuning hardware for your vehicle.
2. Purchase the remote tuning service or complete the tune request process.
3. Read the stock or current file from the vehicle.
4. PCM Tuners reviews the setup and provides the calibration file.
5. You flash the file and collect datalogs.
6. Logs are reviewed and revisions are made based on the vehicle combination.

Optional burble-style tuning on supported platforms

PCM Tuners offers optional burble-style exhaust calibrations on supported platforms. These calibrations intentionally alter deceleration fueling and ignition timing to produce pops and crackles from the exhaust during throttle lift.

Burble Calibration – light pops and crackles during deceleration that add exhaust character without dramatically increasing exhaust temperatures.
Aggressive Burble Calibration – louder and more frequent exhaust pops created through more aggressive overrun fueling and ignition timing strategies. These setups may occasionally produce small flame effects depending on the vehicle and exhaust system.
Flame-Oriented Calibration – extremely aggressive overrun strategies designed to produce sustained flame effects. These configurations create significant exhaust heat and should only be used on properly prepared vehicles in motorsports or off-road environments.

These effects increase heat and stress on engine and exhaust components. They can contribute to catalytic converter damage, increased wear, reduced reliability, and emissions-related problems. For that reason, aggressive burble calibrations are not recommended for daily driven vehicles.

Use responsibly and only on properly equipped vehicles. More aggressive flame-oriented settings are intended for track or motorsports use only.
