PCM Tuners provides mail-in GPEC2A unlock service for supported 2015+ Mopar PCM platforms. This service performs a full OBD unlock so the PCM can be flashed through the OBD port with HP Tuners or Diablo hardware. It is commonly used on 5.7, 6.4, and Hellcat-based applications that require tuning access on locked factory modules.
Many late-model Mopar PCMs are locked from the factory and cannot be conventionally flashed through the OBD port until they are unlocked. A GPEC2A unlock modifies the PCM so that tuning changes can be written through the OBD port using supported tuning tools.
This service is intended for customers who need tuning access for supported Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram applications using HP Tuners or Diablo. PCM Tuners supports custom tuning with HP Tuners.
Remove the PCM, place the order, and ship the module to PCM Tuners. The PCM is unlocked and returned so it can then be flashed through the OBD port using supported hardware.
Customers can also choose unlock plus tune service. In that case, the PCM is unlocked, the calibration is updated, and the tune request form is completed so the setup can be matched to the vehicle combination.
After the PCM is unlocked, flashing can be performed through the OBD port using supported tuning hardware. PCM Tuners supports custom tuning with HP Tuners hardware.
