Mopar Vehicles
All 2015+ vehicles require an ECU unlock. 2018+ vehicles also require HP Tuners Smart Access cable (aka security-gateway bypass cable).
Tire size and axle-ratio information: On Mopar vehicles, these settings are stored in the body control module and cannot be calibrated remotely through the engine tune. An HP Tuners MPVI device, many higher-end Snap-on, Autel, or Launch scan tools, and AlfaOBD may be able to change these values.

Downpipe?

Requested tune stage
Please select
Stage 1
Stage 2
Not sure—please advise
Stage 1 is generally for stock hardware or basic bolt-ons (intake, cat-back, etc). Stage 2 requires supporting hardware appropriate to the platform (headers, downpipe, fmic upgrate, etc). Do not choose Stage 2 tune unless the vehicle has the supporting modifications required for it.
The Stage 1 tune is not intentionally “holding back” power. It is calibrated to make the most of the hardware currently installed on the vehicle. Stage 2 includes additional changes that support and take advantage of the extra airflow and power made possible by modifications such as headers, a downpipe, an upgraded intercooler, or other required hardware.
Running a Stage 1 tune on a vehicle with Stage 2 modifications generally will not hurt anything, although you may not get the full benefit of those upgrades.
Trying to force a Stage 2 tune onto an otherwise Stage 1 vehicle will produce poor results because the tune is expecting hardware and airflow characteristics that the vehicle does not have.

Request burbles or pops?
Yes
No
This is a request, not a guarantee. Availability depends on the platform, calibration, and vehicle setup.
Yes, this will eventually cause damage. No, we do not know how long it will take, what exactly will be damaged (but probably exhaust valves), or exactly when it will happen. The effect is created by igniting fuel in the cylinder while the exhaust valves are open, sending high-pressure, high-temperature combustion into the exhaust valves and piping.
We will set it up only when we have experience with the platform, calibration, and combination. There is no extra charge because sometimes we can do it and sometimes we cannot. It is a request, not a guarantee.

Mechanical and electrical condition
*
I understand that mechanical or electrical problems cannot be corrected with tuning and must be repaired separately.
Common faults that cannot be repaired through tuning include, but are not limited to:
Misfires; wiring-harness faults, including bad grounds, short circuits, and open circuits; Reduced Engine Power warnings on GM vehicles; wrench-light warnings on Ford vehicles; electronic throttle-control or lightning-bolt warnings on Mopar vehicles; crank-no-start conditions; limp mode; ABS, traction-control, or TPMS faults; module-communication codes beginning with “U”; check-engine lights caused by mechanical or electrical problems; crankshaft-position codes; camshaft-position codes; crankshaft-to-camshaft correlation codes; fuel-pressure problems; oil-pressure problems; and alternator, battery, or charging-system faults.
A tune changes software calibration. It cannot repair poor installation, low quality parts, failed sensors, damaged wiring, poor electrical connections, low fuel or oil pressure, mechanical engine problems, charging-system faults, failed modules, or communication-network problems.
Fuel selection
*
I confirm that the fuel octane selected above is the fuel I intend to use consistently.
Base tune limitations
*
I understand that a base tune for a camshaft or major hardware change is not a substitute for a complete dyno tune or remote datalog-based tune when further calibration is needed.
Burbles/pops risk
*
I understand that burbles or pops can cause engine, catalyst, exhaust-valve, turbocharger, and exhaust-system damage.
Good faith
*
Good faith acknowledgement
In good faith, I confirm that the module I am sending is stock, untuned, unmodified, and was working when removed from the vehicle. If any part of that statement is not accurate, I have fully described the module’s known history, condition, previous tuning, modifications, damage, or other relevant circumstances in the notes section of this form.
Final Sale, Tuner Locked, DOA, or Other Damage
*
Final Sale, Tuner-Locked, DOA, or Damaged Module Acknowledgment
I understand that PCM Tuners cannot guarantee that every module received will be readable, writable, repairable, unlockable, or tunable. A module may be tuner-locked, dead on arrival, previously damaged, internally corrupted, improperly programmed, physically damaged, water-damaged, modified by another company, or otherwise unusable for reasons outside of PCM Tuners’ control.
I understand and agree that if PCM Tuners determines that the module cannot be serviced or tuned, the module will be returned to me. I also understand that all sales are final and nonrefundable. This policy applies because bench time, testing, diagnosis, attempted communication with the module, order processing, and return shipping costs have already been incurred, even when the requested service cannot be completed.
At PCM Tuners’ sole discretion, a partial refund may be issued as a courtesy, minus a 35% service charge. I understand that this is not guaranteed, should not be expected, and does not apply to every customer, module, or situation.
By checking this box, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
Final notes
Add anything else PCM Tuners should know before working on your controller or calibration.
